First Parent Teacher Conference

We had Gabe's first parent teacher conference last night.  Miss Terri's first words were, "Gabe is very busy.  But he's so happy.  He's just busy."  No kidding!  He is doing okay, getting along with everyone, but he's still struggling with his colors (she suggested that he may be color blind, which I have wondered for quite a while) and recognizing numbers, but doing pretty well learning his letters.  He still can't write his name, though he can get the first 3 letters consistently, and he made a little book that he can sort of read to us.  He has trouble listening and following directions (again, no kidding!), but he doesn't mean to be difficult.  He just tries to go too fast.  All in all, not a bad conference, and most things we can work on at home.
