Gabe loved the U.S. Air Force Museum.  I thought his eyes would pop out of his head at the sight of all those planes and helicopters.  He thought all the missiles were rockets, so we let him go on thinking that.  We got to go inside 4 different Air Force One planes, including the one that brought JFK's body back after his assassination.  Random fact of the day: FDR's was the only Air Force One plane to ever have an elevator, though he only used it once.  In the R&D area, you have to walk under the planes, and he kept ducking like he might hit his head on the wing 3 feet above his head.  :-)  Oh yeah, and he was fascinated with the giant "bwoon" (a WW1 dirigible).
The Wright Bros. plane, which Gabe said looked like a bike.
